Memorial Day is almost here. I spend time with my family on Memorial Day weekend. Luckily the weather is pretty good these days, I'm planning to barbecue this weekend.
I don't have any personal grill at the house and mostly do grilling in parks or outdoor areas. I always hesitate to put my vegetables over grill directly due to hygiene reasons. Recently I came to know about Vegetables Grill Basket which can be used directly over the grill for cooking vegetables and other stuff like shrimp. You can just cut vegetables as you like and then put veggies in this basket and put it on the grill. That's it. Sound easy, right? Yes, it is.
I love grilled vegetables and this time I chose sweet potato, zucchini, peppers and some carrots. I just cut these veggies, sprinkled some salt and black pepper and toasted well with olive oil. After mixing these well just added these to the basket and then started grilling.

I found this basket very convenient to use, this saved any accidental fall of veggies from the grill gates. Plus, there was no mess. I am super relieved now that my veggies are not touching dirty grill directly. This basket is little heavy, very solid and durable. It has nice handles to hold it easily. I used oven mitts for holding the basket when it was hot. This is easy to clean, I normally keep it in the dishwasher for cleaning. I found another use for this basket and also use it for roasting in the oven and it works well.
I liked the taste of grilled vegetables, my veggies were grilled properly as I wanted. In a nutshell, I really liked this Vegetables Grill basket and will be using it every time when I will be doing barbecues.
