Andre Lorent Rehydrating Sunscreen Review

I enjoy every bit of summer, love long walks, going to beaches and sunbathing. I feel happy when Memorial Day arrives and feel bit gloomy once Labor Day is over. In short, I love Summer and sunlight.

I always try to apply sun screen before leaving house for preventing any sun burns. I've tried many Sunscreen with varying SPF numbers. Sunscreen not only protects from sun burns and harmful UV radiations. It also decreases the risk of skin cancer.

I recently reviewed Andre Lorent's Daily Rehydrating SunScreen .  Its SPF is 30+, as per product description it not only prevents from burning rays (UVB rays) but also protects against aging rays (UVA rays). To be honest, I didn't know about UVB or UVA and only read about UV radiations before. But, it feels good to know that it serves dual role.

Whenever you are looking for sunscreen, you should consider SPF. SPF is Sun Protection Factor. The SPF rating is a measure of the fraction of sunburn-producing UV rays that reach the skin. As per my internet search, most dermatologists recommend using a SPF 15 or SPF 30 sunscreen. Andre Lorent's SPF falls in recommended category.

This Sunscreen is odorless and is very light in texture. It is very easy to rub and it hydrates skin very well. This Sunscreen gets absorbed very fast and doesn't leave skin oily. I normally apply it before leaving house, but it should be applied at least 15 mins before you go in sun.I noticed that it moisturizes my skin very well and doesn't cause any irritation or allergies. It has not resulted in any breakouts or acne.

Pros-

  • SPF 30, No Parabens.
  • Light texture, not greasy and oily.
  • Works well, prevents sun burn and doesn't cause any tingling or acne.
Cons-
  • Bit expensive, 100 ml costs $24.95

I didn't notice any significant or magical differences in my skin with its usage. I could confidently say that it works well and I don't feel any sun burning even when I am in sun for 2 hours or so.
In a nutshell, I am satisfied with the quality of Andre Lorent's Rehydrating Sunscreen. This is available on Amazon and costs $24.95
