Jetsetter Digital Luggage Scale Review

Have you ever paid for unexpected overweight baggage at airports? I paid extra amount once as my luggage was overweight. I was not having any luggage scale and unknowingly stuffed my check-in bag and it weighed 4-5 lbs extra. I really hate this situation when either you have to throw your stuff or pay hefty amounts.

Tarriss Travel Gear is a new company which has launched a portable digital luggage scale named Jetsetter for solving these problems. I got a chance to try this scale and share my honest review. This scale is very light in weight and it comes in a small box along with lifetime warranty card.

It is a very easy and simple tool, nothing to set or install. It can be used to weigh bags, trolleys, suitcase or anything which has some handle. I tried this scale for measuring backpacks, suitcase and a normal shopping bag. This gave me good enough idea about the precision of scale. I matched readings every time with my bathroom scale readings and this scale passed its test. It gave correct readings.As per product description, it has 110 lb / 50 kg capacity with precision accuracy of 0.2 lb / 0.1 kg.This comes with a lithium battery which is included and has auto shut-off feature.

  
To be honest, I tried lifting only 10-12 kg of weight. I am not a good weight lifter and can't really hold more weight. If I have to weigh heavy suitcases, then I would go with bathroom scale. But if you can easily lift heavy suitcases then you can use this scale easily.

Things I liked about this scale-

• Very lightweight scale, you can carry it with your luggage.
• Portable and easy to use.  
• Very useful in weighing light bags, backpacks or luggage which can be lifted easily.

Some Cons of luggage scale-

• It holds true for every luggage scale, if your suitcase is heavy say 20-25 Kg then you might not be able to lift heavy luggage with this scale. It depends really on how much weight you can lift. In that case bathroom scale will win over this scale.
• This scale will fail if any luggage bag has no handles.

In a nutshell, this Jetsetter scale is light weight and portable scale which gives accurate readings.You can keep it in your bag and carry it anywhere and can easily weigh luggage anywhere.
