Shea Butter From Cleopatra's Choice Brand: Review

I got a free sample of Shea butter from Cleopatra's Choice for sharing my honest opinion. This is the first time I tried unrefined Shea butter. If you are not familiar with Shea butter, let me share some facts about this product.

Shea butter is extracted from the nut of African Shea tree. It is mainly used in cosmetic industry for making lotions, soaps etc. This butter can be used in raw form or can be whipped to make body butter. 

Shea butter was of ivory color, it came in a well packaged tumbler. When I opened it, it was bit solidified. It was not like facial moisturizing creams , but was like frozen butter. I took some butter in a bowl and mixed some tea tree oil in it and then whipped it a bit.

I normally apply it on my body as a moisturizer. Only a little amount is sufficient for one time usage, it becomes soft once you start rubbing it. Normally people complain about Shea butter's woody smell but I couldn't sense any smell. It didn't smell at all. I normally apply it before going to bed, it keeps my skin soft and healthy.

I read that it helps in eliminating stretch marks and wrinkles. I couldn't test that as I have none of them. I also noticed that it keeps legs smooth if you massage it before shaving your legs. But you need to be careful as it can make your bathtub slippery ( sharing from personal experience ).

In short, I can say that this product works very well as a moisturizing agent. It is now a new addition to my bath time routine.You can get Spa experience at home by lightening some candles and getting massage using Shea butter.

My suggestions-

• I would love more if this butter has some added fragrance . I couldn't feel any smell.
• This product should be launched in small packages as well say 50 gm or 100 gm, that will make this product more reasonable and larger audience would be able to sample it.
