I love trying new products especially kitchen gadgets. I got a chance to review a slicer named WonderVeg Vegetable Spiralizer Tri Blade Slicer recently.
This spiral slicer set came with cleaning brush, replacement parts , blades and a mini recipe book . It can be compared with mini sewing machine in terms of size and looks. It is based on a very simple concept of slicing vegetables by pressing veggies between handle and slicer body and then rotating the handle.
This slicer comes with 3 different blades, each serves different purpose. I used this for making zucchini noodles and potato chips. If you have not heard about Zucchini noodles then this is some healthy substitute of pasta noodles where you can replace pasta with zucchini. I also add carrot spirals in the noodles to make it healthy. It is quite easy to make these healthy noodles using this WonderVeg Spiralizer. I took 2 zucchini and 1 carrot and quickly sliced using this spiralizer, then prepared these like noodles/spaghetti replacing pasta with these spirals. Another blade can be used to make thick potato ribbons. I baked these ribbons to get some healthy potato chips.
This takes almost same space like a Keurig coffee machine , I placed it in a corner on my kitchen counter top and quickly use it while making lunch or dinner. It is quite easy to use.As per company, this is made of BPA free plastic.
