Cave Tools BBQ Glove Oven Mitts Review

I love cooking and keep on trying various recipes at home. I use the oven for baking cookies, snack items etc. I tried Cave Tools BBQ Oven gloves in my kitchen and tested these recently.

In the past, I have tried various oven mitts which were made of fabric and having pretty decorative patterns on them but none of them survived the heat of the oven. I used to replace the oven mitts every few months. Then I came to know about these Cave tools BBQ gloves which are not made of fabric and made from a lightweight flame retardant fiber coated in silicone.

As per the product description, these can be used for 662°F for Smoking, Grilling, Baking, or Cooking and Extended Cuffs Protect Your Forearms when Reaching into The Back of The Grill or Oven. I decided to give these a try. I was baking chickpeas patties in the oven and this was the perfect time to try.







I put these gloves and held the baking sheet; I didn't feel the heat for the first time when I held the tray. When I held the baking tray for a longer time then I started feeling the warmth. I am using these gloves in my kitchen not only for holding baking trays; I'm also using these as pot holders. Some of my pans are not having any handle sleeves and I use these gloves to hold those warm pans.
To be honest, I didn't try these on the flame to verify whether these are flame retardant or not. But, I liked the quality of the material used and these work perfectly for my oven and for holding hot pots and pans. I also liked the fact that these are machine washable.
