Eclipse Sun Sleeves Review: Sun protection for hands

"Eclipse® Sun Products were developed by a Physical Therapist who starting seeing sun spots on her hands and arms soon after moving to sunny Colorado from Vermont. After she made a few pairs of sun sleeves for herself, her friends started asking for them and soon friends of friends."

I am sure most people like sunny weather, you can plan for N number of activities on a sunny day. I love sunny days as I can go for a walk, can plan for fun activities like gardening, going to beach etc. Only thing which troubles on a pleasant sunny day is itching and burning caused by sun rays.

My skin is super sensitive and it shows red sun burn spots if I am out for long time without any sun protection. When I got chance to review Eclipse Sun Sleeve , then I was excited to see how it works.

Eclipse sent me one sun sleeve for review purpose. These come in many colors and prints. First I thought to try sun sleeve with polka dots, but then I made up my mind to choose simple white one.

It came packaged in a cute small kit and when I took these sleeves in my hands, first thing which came into my mind was how light these are. These sleeves are very light in weight. These are super soft and I wanted to try these at the first moment.

I chose one size larger so these can cover good portion of my hands. These sleeves fitted perfectly and covered my hands. These are designed to keep fingers uncovered, so you can easily carry on with your work.

As per their website,these sleeves are made up of Cocona fabric which provides UPF 50+ protection .

Now  it was time to wear these outside on a hot sunny day. I covered my hands with these sun sleeves during our weekend picnic.  I didn't use sun screen lotion and still my arms were protected from sun rays. I liked these sun sleeves very much.I keep these tiny sleeves in my hand bag all the time for sun protection whenever it is required.

Only downside which I could feel is it has open portion for fingers which makes little portion of hands uncovered .This is part of its unique design. But if you want to cover completely then you can wear gloves over it or use sun screen lotion.

American Apparel Shirts and Pencil Skirt Review

Recently I got a chance to review some clothing products from a company named American Apparel. Their website has such a huge collection of clothes and clothing accessories , that you can never end up buying one product ;).
I chose long sleeve shirts for my husband and pencil skirt for myself for review purpose.

American Apparel Long Sleeve Shirts:
My husband always wear long sleeve shirts whether it is summer or winter. American Apparel website has huge range of formal and casual shirts. Shirts size range from XXS to XL, so size is not an issue while ordering from their site. He got Heavy Chambray Long Sleeve Button-Up with Pocket and Stone Wash Oxford Long Sleeve shirts. Both shirts are made up of 100% cotton material and are very comfortable to wear. These are perfect for summers. These shirts come in very sober looking colors and are perfect for formal wear.

These shirts have been washed for at least 3-4 times.There was no fading of color and these still look like new shirts.

Stripe Interlock Pencil Skirt:
I loved this pencil skirt. It has white and black strips and perfect for office wear.It goes well with variety of tops and shirts. This skirt is adjustable and you can make it long as well as short by folding its top portion. It is made up of 100% cotton and is very soft and easy to use and wear. I washed this skirt in machine and there was no fading of color or shrinkage. This skirt looks good and is comfortable too.

In a nutshell, we are highly satisfied with the quality and style of American Apparel Clothes. These are very soft,comfortable to wear and easy to wash.

Duff Goldman's Tie-Dye Cake Mix and Baking Supplies Review & Giveaway

I occasionally bake cookies and cakes. Who doesn't love home baked cakes?
When I got a chance to review Tie-Dye Cake and other baking supplies from Duff Goldman and Gartner Studios, I was really excited.

They sent me a baking pan, Tie-Dye Cake mix,Cream Cheese Frosting and Red Raspberry Filling. It was a complete package for baking cake at home.

Tie-Dye Cake Mix:
Cake mix comes along with three colors: Red, Blue and Yellow. You can play with colors and make layered cake. Cake mix box describes process very clearly. By following instructions on box, it was very easy to make cake.

I poured mix in 3 bowls and added colors, then just made layers in my pan. I bake occasionally , so my layers didn't come very clean but cake looked really wonderful.

Cream Cheese Frosting:
No words to describe... This cream cheese frosting was awesome. It makes cake more delicious and yummy. 

Red Raspberry Filling:
I also decorated my cake by adding Red Raspberry. If you like Raspberry, then you will enjoy this filling. It tastes like Raspberry Jam and makes cake more sweet and refreshing.

Duff Anodized Aluminum Baking Pan:
Baking process can't be completed without baking pan. I liked their round aluminum pan. It is very light in weight and easy to clean and use. Just slightly grease this pan and it is ready to go in oven.

I really loved my cake. I showed it to my friends and they were amazed and really liked it. It was not only good in appearance but also tasted yummy.

In a nutshell, I am satisfied with the quality of Duff Goldman's Baking supplies.I would recommend their products to all who love baking cakes at home.
